I’m thrilled to share my passion for the Spanish language with you. As a native Spanish speaker who grew up in South America, I’ve always been surrounded by the rich tapestry of languages, diversity, and cultures. This deep-rooted love for language and cultural exchange has driven my career for over 15 years.

My expertise is further enriched as an accredited DELE examiner by the Instituto Cervantes for ALL levels of the DELE Spanish exam. DELE stands for "Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera," which translates to "Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language." These are official diplomas issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport, certifying the degree of competence and mastery of the Spanish language. If you are preparing for any of the DELE exams, you can trust that I have the insider knowledge and experience to help you succeed, as I am intimately familiar with the exam formats and expectations.

In addition to teaching, I bring over 10 years of experience as a community, medical and court interpreter, a role that has deepened my understanding of the Spanish language and its practical applications in diverse, real-world contexts. If you’re just starting, the 6-class package is a great option to explore our teaching style and build foundational skills. It provides enough time to gain confidence while keeping your commitment flexible.

How long is each class?

Each class is typically 60-90 minutes, ensuring ample time for personalized instruction, practice, and addressing any questions.

How do I know what level I’m at?

We offer a free placement test on our website to help you determine your current Spanish level. The test evaluates your grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills, providing a clear starting point for your learning journey. Based on the results, we can tailor the classes to suit your specific needs and goals.

Can I reschedule a class?

Of course! Classes can be rescheduled without any issues if you notify me at least 24 hours in advance. However, if you request to reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice, the class will be marked as “completed” and counted as part of your package.

How quickly can I expect to see progress?

On day one. However, progress depends on multiple factors, including your current level, the package you choose, and, most importantly, how much you practice outside of class. Regular practice—such as speaking with native speakers, reviewing materials, and immersing yourself in Spanish through media or daily activities—will significantly accelerate your learning.

Do I need to purchase additional materials?

No, all materials will be provided. However, supplementary resources online can be recommended to support your learning.

Are the classes tailored to my goals?

Yes, all lessons are personalized to align with your specific objectives, whether you’re preparing for an exam, improving conversational skills, or learning for travel or work.

Do you teach children or only adults?
